Graduation Sunday (May-20) - Contratulations Seniors: Rachel Broadbent, Jordan Glenn, Cory Goodman, Kaitlyn Keller, Hannah McDonald, Megan Moore, Amber Smith, Sydney Stovall, Blake Stephens. Honorable Mention for Paige Walker who graduated early and is currently enlisted in the U.S. Army serving at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri
TN Synod Young Adults is sponsoring a College Age//Young Adult Retreat (18-30yrs old) in Panama City Beach this summer! Cost is $150 total and covers lodging, transportation, non-traveling meals and a t-shirt. A deposit of $75 is due by May 1st. Rev. Jimmy Byrd will be our guest speaker all week. Registration is all done online at http://tnsynodyoungadults.com/event-registration/. This event is July 23-27 and will be held at the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center!

TN Synod Senior High Camp will be at Crystal Springs June 3-8. This is for rising sophomores in high school through college freshmen. I am serving in my fifth year as a director along side Tyler Spradling (Tusculum CPC) and Donna Buford (Mt. Carmel CPC). This year our theme is "Lost in Translation", where we will be exploring issues of how we relate to God, to Jesus, to each other, to the Bible and how sometimes things get lost along the way. We are going to invite fellow campers to journey with us as we seek to discover God and the Way God wishes for us to live out our faithfulness in a world full of people that have seemingly lost The Way.
Junior High Camp will be at Crystal Springs June 10-15. I am excited to be serving at camp again this year as a counselor and especially thrilled at the opportunity to serve as the worship leader that week. Our theme is "The Secrets of the Kingdom" and we will be taking an in depth look at many of Jesus' parables. It is estimated that nearly 1/3rd of what Jesus has to say or taught was through the medium of stories. From the prodigal son to the good samaritan, Jesus' parables are well-known throughout the world. Campers will be invited to consider what these parables reveal, about our world, ourselves and what God is desiring to do in the midst of both.
Our final Youth Gathering of this school year will be Wednesday, May 30th! Exact details will be forthcoming, but we are planning
to go canoeing on the Elk River that morning and pack lunches. This event will be for both middle and high school as we celebrate
the end of another school year and gear up for summer! Mark your calendars!
